The 5-floor residential house Rezidence Manovka offers housing near Bílá Hora and Divoká Šárka. The new residential house Manovka is located on the northern slope of Bílá Hora Hill, in the cadastral area of Ruzyně, in the Jinočanská Street. The building is located in the family house neighborhood, near the ancient court of Manovka with a pond. The symbolic name of the new facility refers to this ancient estate.
Near the Manovka facility, there are numerous important monuments. Predominant is the Prague Castle about 4 km of driving away, or five tram stops. Next door is Hvězda Folly with its park – the location of the Battle of Bílá Hora on November 8, 1620.
The park is the popular leisure time venue of Prague inhabitants; in winter months, it’s a well-known resort for langlaufers. You can spend your time visiting the Břevnov Monastery, Divoká Šárka valley with many tourist walkways, Strahov Plain with the ancient Ladronka building, the Džbán Pool etc.
Basic information on the facility
The residential house Manovka is located in the neighborhood of family houses on its own site in Praha 6 – Ruzyně. In the rear northern part, the site borders on the sport area. The structured architecture of the building, decreasing in terraces towards the garden, fully respects the height of the neighboring houses and fits well into the environment, also due to the materials used for the façade and terrace walls. The facility is built in the north-south direction, with the apartments facing east for the best sun exposure.
The new facility consists of 5 floors. The entrance to the building from the Jinočanská Street is located on the 3rd aboveground floor. From the street view, the building looks like a 2-floor house with an attic. The residential house will offer 18 apartments. The underground floor contains a garage with a roofed entrance and exit on the Jinočanská Street, with the capacity of 18 stands placed on parking devices. Other 3 parking stands are located on the site next to the house. Two of them are made for the disabled.
The facility is designed as a combined system consisting of a 3-segment unit and two 2-segment units. The front (southern) part features the main entrance from the Jinočanská Street into the atrium surrounded by residential 2-segment areas on both sides, with terraces and balconies. The front area is followed by the segment of vertical passageways with the elevator and escape stairway. Behind it, in the northern part of the site, there is a residential 3-segment unit symmetrical to the axis of the building and public corridor. The apartments on the ground floor include also the land. The upper floors of this part of the building feature terraces with wooden pergolas.
The residential house will be connected to the city water, sewage, gas and power distribution system. The heating will be provided by the facility’s own gas boiler room.
