Sekyra Group selling Malešice
Prague, December 6, 2010 – Sekyra Group is selling the building site in Praha – Malešice to the SIDI PRAGUE Company. By this, Sekyra Group demonstrates its focus on large development projects in the broad center of Prague.
The building site in Počernická Street in the Malešice neighborhood was bought in October 2007 from the City District by České nemovitosti, a.s., member of Sekyra Group Real Estate. This company has also arranged for all necessary building permits. Given the current market situation and the corporate strategy aimed at developing projects in the most attractive neighborhoods of Prague, Sekyra Group decided to sell the project in Malešice.
“We want to focus on the development of new neighborhoods in the broad center of Prague, especially on the projects at Rohanský Island, Smíchov and Žižkov,” said Luděk Sekyra, Chairman of the Board of Sekyra Group, a.s., commenting on the sale of the Malešice project.
The new owner, SIDI PRAGUE, wants to start building the first of the two stages of multi-functional area Byty Malešice, as soon as the transaction is closed. Both parties decided not no disclose the value of the transaction.
