September 14, 2009 – The building of the National Technical Library was one of the priority projects of the Ministry of Education. The library, which started operations today, is designed and built so it follows the requirements and needs of the users in the 21st century.

The project was realized by Sekyra Group. The building of the National Technical Library is also one of the most important examples of the private-public partnership in the Czech Republic. Overall investment costs reach Czk 2.25 billion
